This net will start  December 20th, Thursday night at 01:00 Zulu, or 8:00 pm EDT, or Local time

with the purpose of paying a

Special Tribute to Archie B. Cole, Jr. - KB8TVK, who is a Silent Key.

Archie 81 years of age, Passed away on Sunday December 9th. 2007

Archie was very active in Amateur Radio and was a ARES & RACES member.

Please come share your remembrances of Archie, and his love of the Amateur Radio Hobby!

Archie is survived by Scott - KC8NVG (his son) and Lora (his daughter in law) Cole - KC8POO 

Both are active radio amateurs in Northern Michigan.

This special net will start on the National Simplex Calling frequency of  146.520 MHz

 After initial checkins

 the net will move to the Petoskey Repeater 146.680 with a PL of 110.9,

 for the remainder of the Special Tribute  to Archie.
